The Blu G52L is a straightforward Android smartphone released in 2022. Don’t expect headline-grabbing features, but you’ll get the basics covered for daily texting, calling, and moderate browsing on a large display. Two years old in 2025, it works well as a dependable backup, starter phone, or device for casual users.

Key features:

Release Date: June 2022
Display: 6.5-inch IPS LCD, 720 x 1600 px resolution
Processor: Unisoc SC9863A (Octa-core, up to 1.6 GHz)
Camera: Dual rear setup (13MP wide + 0.3MP depth), 8MP front camera
Operating System: Ships with Android 11 (Go edition)
Connectivity: 4G LTE; Wi-Fi 4 (802.11 b/g/n); Bluetooth 4.2
Build: Plastic body with a simple, practical design

Who is this for?

The Blu G52L is best for those who need the essentials—think students who just want to message and browse, older adults seeking a no-fuss phone, or anyone looking for an uncomplicated pre-owned device. Compared to more advanced models like the Samsung Galaxy A13 or Motorola Moto G Play, the G52L skips premium frills in favor of basic utility and a big screen for easier reading.

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Large display for videos and reading. Basic 720p resolution, not ideal for sharp visuals. Simple Android Go system is beginner friendly. Limited performance; not suited for gaming or heavy multitasking. Dual camera system is a plus for a budget device. No 5G support — limited to 4G only. Lightweight and easy to handle. Plastic build means less premium feel.
Why refurbished?
