Phenomenal for what I need it for. It has a touchscreen which I wasn't expecting, but has already saved my bacon in a presentation where I forgot my secondary monitor. It also has a fingerprint reader so I can unlock it just like my phone. As for performance, it's absolutely perfect! Battery life that lasts for 5+ hours before low power mode kicks in, allowing me to gather data and present PowerPoints without worry. The C-cell charger makes for a quick sub-hour charge, and honestly the built in mouse track is super useful because now I dont have to lug around a mouse if I want to be productive 😆

Excellent purchase, even better customer service. Item was received in record time, I had a question for the CS team and they answered immediately, very knowledgeable… even their subscription emails are un intrusive. No issues with item, works as expected and now I have a new bad ass mobile workstation with dual boot, you can get a 100W laptop charger to double battery life, giving you 20-22 hours of battery life no problem. Based on my experience, buy with confidence from RefurbLane.

I did my best to find anything wrong with the T490 I received, inspected everything, ran every test I could think of, looked for missing components I was supposed to get, and despite my efforts, I had to conclude that my computer was in perfect order. Not only that, it also looked great, no real blemishes were apparent. Given all this, and the device's impressive specs, I must say that this purchase was a steal for the price. I have no complaints, not one.

Device is great, keyboard is solid and there is no major sign of wear on the surfaces of the device so it is indeed in 'excellent' physical quality. The loss of star comes from the screen flicker that occurs at times and the hinge of the device makes a cracking sound when adjusting the angle. Very nearly a 'perfect' refurbished device and the shortcomings are acceptable given the price discount.

Laptop took over a week to actually ship after the label was created, which would have been fine if not for the fact I was on a time crunch due to travel and had paid for expedited shipping (which I do know refers to the Fedex ship time and not the processing time). This specific issue was resolved thanks to RefurbLane's customer service team. However, the main issue was the state the laptop arrived in. While physically in good condition, the laptop was a mess once I booted it up. It turns out, they hadn't finished updating & hard resetting it before shipping it. There were a few updates even completed the day it was actually shipped out. Thankfully, it's not difficult to do a hard reset yourself, however when I attempted to do so, I was told the recovery environment was not found. I then had to spend my afternoon fixing this issue, including multiple full windows 11 downloads and updates, the touchpad randomly not working because of these updates, and many restarts. There is also a strange dead spot in the middle of the screen that is not quite a dead pixel. On top of this, the power cord provided was damaged and the prongs were bent. The laptop would not consistently charge, resulting in me needing to purchase a new charger. This was unfortunately an extremely inconvenient process from start to finish. The QC was extremely poor. If they were going to take a week to actually ship it out, it could at least have been ready out of the box.

The device looks and operates brand new. During my purchase, I wanted a backlit keyboard, and this one said it didn't include one. However, I settled for it out of necessity, and to my surprise, it came with a backlit keyboard! I'm so excited. Great seller! I will absolutely be purchasing from and referring them again.

It's a nice computer. Coming from Apple, I kinda wish the resolution was better but overall it is getting what I need for day to day life done. Also, I saw PCMag said the battery life is site on it and I have to agree. That is the only sticking point about this model. The battery pack is huge, more than what I am used to but nonetheless I like it! RefurbLane made the process very easy from start to finish. Will order again in the future.
