I got this for my daughter-in-law and she absolutely loves it. It’s in perfect condition even though it was listed as fair. This is the 5th phone I’ve bought from RefurbLane and I’ve not been disappointed yet. Plus i bought a laptop that I love. I recommend buying refurbished electronic items from RefurbLane.

The phone itself was in perfect condition, looked brand new. I just found it very awkward and heavy so I've already returned it and ordered a Z fold 7 instead. I'll be reviewing it soon.

First of all, the Samsung Z Fold 5 arrived on time and in perfect condition. I don't think the phone had been previously used. If so, I couldn't tell. For me, I'm thinking that the phone is probably not one that I would use. Primary reasons are the size of the primary screen and accessibility of the side button (fingerprint reader) with a case installed. I have gone back to my S23+. I guess I was spoiled by the fingerprint reader on the screen. The phone and the service provided by RefurbLane were top notch. I probably didn't do enough research on the functionality of the phone itself.

I received my Galaxy Z Fold 5 yesterday (it only took 1 day) and it's my first foldable phone. After setting it up I am very pleased with it. It looks brand new no scratches or anything at all, it's in great condition and I love it!!

Came a day early, even with "Good" Condition. Could've passed as Excellent. Not a smudge noticeable and screen was clean. I checked the battery health and it's at 99% with 62 cycles. Impressive deal. Will buy from RefurbLane once I need an upgrade.

Absolutely fantastic! the device came with no defects on the screens and when the internal screen protector had some issues they fixed it in less than a week with no questions asked!

The physical condition of the body and screen were beyond expectation, more than acceptable for it's "fair" rating. However, the power button on the device is very faulty, barely able to be considered functional really, which is disappointing seeing as it's just about the most important feature on any mobile device.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 brings Samsung’s foldable tech into its fifth generation, released in August 2023. While not the newest in 2025, it remains a standout for multitasking with its large folding display and improved build quality over earlier versions. If you want more screen real estate but less bulk, this one says “why not both?”

Key features:

Release Date: August 2023
Main Display: 7.6-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X (2176 x 1812 px, 120Hz)
Cover Display: 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X (2316 x 904 px, 120Hz)
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy
Camera: Triple rear — 50MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom); 10MP cover selfie and 4MP under display
Operating System: Ships with Android 13 (One UI 5.1.1)
Build: Armor aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on cover and back, IPX8 water resistance (not dust resistant)
Connectivity: 5G support, Wi-Fi 6E for fast and future-proof connections

Who is this for?

The Galaxy Z Fold5 is built for productivity-focused professionals, tech enthusiasts, and anyone craving a tablet experience in their pocket. Compared to classic flagships like the Galaxy S23 Ultra or iPhone 14 Pro Max, the Fold5 prioritizes screen flexibility for multitasking, reading, and content creation. If you're juggling emails, streaming, or editing docs on the go, it's hard to beat (unless you still prefer the weightlifting challenge of carrying two devices).

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Spacious foldable display ideal for split-screen multitasking. Bulky when folded compared to regular phones. Premium water-resistant, tough build (finally!), though dust can still creep in. Not fully dust resistant—Mind your pocket lint. Flagship-level performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Camera system isn't quite on par with non-foldable flagships (think Galaxy S23 Ultra). Wi-Fi 6E and 5G make it ready for speedy networks. Folding screen crease is still visible and can be distracting for some.
Why refurbished?

Choosing a refurbished Galaxy Z Fold5 is a practical, eco-aware choice—less waste, same multitasking potential. RefurbLane’s pre-owned devices pass comprehensive quality checks so you don’t have to second-guess reliability. Learn more about our quality standards.
