    I’d never purchased from RefurbLane before, so I was reasonably nervous especially with the cost. My expectations were blown out of the water! The iPod was delivered quickly, in mint condition, and works perfectly, sound is incredible. I did have to purchase a USB-C to 30-prong cable separately in order to connect it to my Macbook, but once connected I was able to begin loading music immediately. All my cover art transferred over as well with no issues. I haven’t put this thing down since ordering it, it’s been amazing having on-the-go access to my physical media again!

    I had a lot of trouble getting this Gen 6 iPod Classic to synch with Apple Music on my MacBook Pro (possibly because of "DRM" digital rights management issues) so that I finally gave up and asked my wife's help who's much better at this IT stuff and she was able after considerable machinations to do a successful synch which now works perfectly in my "Classic" 2008 VW R32 which has a special 30pin slot in the center console for it...all's well that ends well! And BTW, my black iPod Classic looks brand new! :)

    UPDATE*** The iPod started crashing and ended up freezing and becoming unresponsive after working initially for a few days. Because this seller doesn’t offer repairs or replacements, we have requested to return this product for a full refund. *original review* Ordered as a gift for someone. It arrived in the promised condition (excellent), fully charged. From my last conversation with the gift receiver, they are enjoying the iPod immensely.

    The iPod is in great shape for any used piece of gear and in fantastic shape for a 12+ year old piece of tech. I used a USB A to C adapter, plugged it into a 2023 MacBook Air with Apple M2 silicon running Sequoia 15.7, and it charged just fine and popped right up in the Finder ready to sync. I dropped about 65G of music on it, and it rocks. Best. Music Player. Ever.

    At first I had trouble charging it; I tried two different wall chargers but nothing after two hours. I figure I might have to buy a decent iPod wall adapter for it to work that way. Anyway, I eventually tried charging it with my laptop and it’s at full battery since yesterday. I used it for a little bit and gotta say, I almost shed a tear from the nostalgia alone. It was like being back in high school…no fancy apps, no subscriptions, no internet to distract, no tracking, just nice, clear music and an addictive wheel to flip through your albums…my family was astounded I could find one of these. More people need to switch back to the classics. Not cause I’m old and sentimental but because tech is going in such an awful direction. Unplugging feels like a detox at this point. I hope this lasts a while, it’s gonna be hard going back to my phone for music.

    I believe I ordered the excellent version I’m not entirely sure I can’t remember but if it was not the excellent version then it was the next best version. Either way there was very little sign of usage other than a very small white chip mark in the paint on the back. No original box was included. Just bubble wrap along with the correct(lightning) charging cable. Also can’t remember if the wall charging brick was included or not but the correct cable was included. No headphones. Battery works great. Screen was just fine nice and bright and responsive like it should be. Once I got through apples dreadful login process everything was fine. (That has nothing to do with RefurbLane) the actual product was fine and is working fine and looks just fine too other than that small paint spot on the back. Will be ordering from RefurbLane again the future.
