It works great. I had to go buy an adapter for my 12 year old monitor and with out any instructions, I was lost. I had a kid get me up and running after windows downloads that took 27 hours. All that said, I am a happy 75 ole man. Thanks for the great service and quick delevery. Got it two days early. Always the best.

Laptop took over a week to actually ship after the label was created, which would have been fine if not for the fact I was on a time crunch due to travel and had paid for expedited shipping (which I do know refers to the Fedex ship time and not the processing time). This specific issue was resolved thanks to RefurbLane's customer service team. However, the main issue was the state the laptop arrived in. While physically in good condition, the laptop was a mess once I booted it up. It turns out, they hadn't finished updating & hard resetting it before shipping it. There were a few updates even completed the day it was actually shipped out. Thankfully, it's not difficult to do a hard reset yourself, however when I attempted to do so, I was told the recovery environment was not found. I then had to spend my afternoon fixing this issue, including multiple full windows 11 downloads and updates, the touchpad randomly not working because of these updates, and many restarts. There is also a strange dead spot in the middle of the screen that is not quite a dead pixel. On top of this, the power cord provided was damaged and the prongs were bent. The laptop would not consistently charge, resulting in me needing to purchase a new charger. This was unfortunately an extremely inconvenient process from start to finish. The QC was extremely poor. If they were going to take a week to actually ship it out, it could at least have been ready out of the box.

Getting into photography, didn’t want to spend a whole lot, more than impressed with product, couple dings on paint, no cracks on screen, no sticky keys, amazing condition and price for a fair conditioned item

It went well. This is a durable replacement for a Dell XPS 13 3900 that semi-died when my wife's 10-year-old grandson apparently poured soda pop on the keyboard. Then one of the dogs was chasing one of the cats in the house and it fell on the floor and wrecked one of the USB C ports. I stupidly fried the battery by plugging it directly in to a 110 V outlet and now it's at a local shop getting the battery replaced, which may not be possible because the case was bent by the dog-cat incident. The Lenovo seems to be much better built (and heavier) than the Dell. So far the ThinkPad is trundling along and working, fingers crossed, though the grandson will probably not be in the house again, so that's a positive for the laptop. And it's great with one very minor and not important 'glitch.' I can't get the intrinsic pen to pair with the computer, although it functions just fine. I'm able to write commentary on photos and Word document graphics with the pen. I can sign this with the pen, neat huh? GNW

Computer is working well so far, arrived exactly as described, with minor cosmetic issues (peeling of the rubber around the screen and some dust) which don't bother me. Battery life is slightly lower than expected, around 4.5 hours, but I am willing to replace/add supplemental batteries to it. Overall a good buy, hopeful that it will hold up!

Disappointing Experience With a Refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad I purchased a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T590 from RefurbLane on July 23, 2026, and the experience was unfortunately very disappointing. The laptop was originally scheduled to arrive on July 28, but I received multiple notifications that the delivery had been delayed. I ultimately received the device on August 3, which was already an inconvenience. When the package arrived, the laptop and charger were both wrapped in bubble wrap inside a UPS box. I understand that I purchased a refurbished device in “Good” condition, so I wasn't expecting a brand-new laptop. However, I did expect the device to be properly cleaned, inspected, and fully functional. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As soon as I removed the packaging, I noticed numerous fingerprints and what appeared to be dirt on the exterior of the laptop. When I opened it, the screen was already powered on and displaying a request for an administrator login. The screen and keyboard were extremely dirty, with visible crumbs and debris throughout the keyboard and on the screen. I also noticed that the touchpad was not functioning. I couldn't properly access the mouse or navigate the computer, which immediately raised concerns about whether the device had actually been inspected and tested before being shipped. There was also a sticky note on the laptop with information about the device, along with a $280 price tag. I paid $415.99 for the laptop, which made the condition of the device even more frustrating. Based on what I received, it did not appear that the laptop had been properly factory reset, cleaned, or prepared for a new customer. I contacted RefurbLane customer service and spoke with a representative named Juan, who provided me with a return label. I returned the laptop the following day. I also followed up with Juan because I wanted to understand how a device could be shipped in that condition and who was responsible for inspecting and refurbishing these products. Juan explained that the individual vendor selling the device through RefurbLane is responsible for refurbishing and preparing the product. RefurbLane essentially trusts its vendors to perform the necessary due diligence and provide quality products. That explanation was concerning to me because, as a customer, I am purchasing through RefurbLane, not directly from the individual vendor. I would expect RefurbLane to have quality-control measures in place to ensure that products meet the condition advertised before they reach the customer. I was eventually issued a refund. I also asked whether RefurbLane could provide some type of compensation for the inconvenience. I was initially offered 5% off a future purchase, which I did not feel adequately addressed the situation. After requesting 20% compensation, Juan escalated the matter and was able to get it approved. I received approximately $82 in credit, which I ultimately chose to cash out to my bank account rather than use toward another RefurbLane purchase. At that point, I decided to purchase a Dell laptop through Amazon instead. I am 1,000% more satisfied with that purchase. The laptop arrived clean, properly factory reset, fully functional, and ready to use—and I actually spent less money than I had on the RefurbLane purchase. Final Thoughts While I appreciate that RefurbLane ultimately refunded me and provided compensation after I requested it, the experience itself left me with very little confidence in their quality-control process. If you're considering purchasing a refurbished laptop, my personal experience would lead me to recommend looking elsewhere. RefurbLane may have some good products and reputable vendors, but in my experience, there is too much uncertainty regarding the condition of the device you will actually receive. I would personally rather purchase from a retailer or vendor that stands behind the product, thoroughly inspects it, and ensures that it is clean, functional, and properly prepared before shipping it to the customer. For me, that experience was Amazon—and I am much happier with the laptop I purchased there.

Awesome device, had to install new drivers. However, my biggest issue was the install that’s on the device is buggy and every time the device shuts down it “forgets” drivers or it just doesn’t boot correctly. Have to reinstall windows unfortunately. In the image I was fully updated on drivers.

Everything functions properly as advertised. The only annoyance was a set of stickers next to the touch-pad, in which I had to peel off, leaving a sticky residue behind. Otherwise, I have no issues.

I've only had it for a few days. As a pair of headphones, they work really well. Unfortunately, the headphone pads were already peeling when they arrived. I spent another $20+ to get replacement pads that I'll have to install myself. That alone makes them fall short of what I'd call "excellent" condition.
