The order process was smooth and easy as was payment. The shipping was very fast and I was kept up to date on when to expect the package. The unit was packed well but without too much waste. And the laptop was in better condition than I expected given the listing of Fair. Unit was ready to set up Windows and functioning as it should. I installed Linux instead of Windows and am very pleased with the results. I've recommend to a colleague that this is the way to order a "new" laptop. I've had an extremely positive experience.

Ordered a Dell Latitude 5520 for my wife and RefurbLane knocked it out of the park from start to finish. Every step happened exactly when and how they said it would - no surprises, no delays, just smooth sailing. The laptop showed up in premium condition and my wife has been showing it off ever since, bragging to everyone about how fast it runs. We are absolutely coming back to RefurbLane for our next purchase - highly recommend!

I’ll be the first to admit I was incredibly nervous about ordering a refurbished laptop. Buying tech online can feel like a gamble, and I spent quite a bit of time debating whether or not to pull the trigger. After seeing the 5-star rating and the warranty included, I finally decided to go for it, and I am so incredibly happy that I did! The listing rated the condition as "Good," but honestly, if you told me this was a brand-new machine straight out of the box, I would believe you. It is absolutely flawless no scratches, no scuffs, and it runs like a dream. The Ryzen 7 Pro and 32GB of RAM make it a powerhouse for all my management tasks and spreadsheets. Having that warranty really eased my anxiety and gave me the peace of mind I needed to make the purchase. To whoever refurbished and prepped this device for me: thank you so much! You are awesome and clearly take pride in your work. If you're on the fence about buying, just do it. This exceeded every expectation I had!

Had my computer for a week now and I LOVE it! Shipping was extremely fast, I received my order 2 days after purchasing. I purchased this to use for work and I have not been disappointed. I used chatGPT to help decide which was the best computer for my needs and it also let me submit the link and confirmed that this was a a good fit for the price. There aren’t any scratches/blemishes anywhere, this is really a brand new computer. This is my 2nd purchase off RefurbLane, first was back in 2023, and have not had any issues.

The device came as expected, in perfect condition. Who would have thought that a refurbished laptop would look so brand new and work just like a new one. Everything from the specs, camera, microphone, fingerprint are all working fine. No scratches or signs of breaking due to falling.

Phenomenal for what I need it for. It has a touchscreen which I wasn't expecting, but has already saved my bacon in a presentation where I forgot my secondary monitor. It also has a fingerprint reader so I can unlock it just like my phone. As for performance, it's absolutely perfect! Battery life that lasts for 5+ hours before low power mode kicks in, allowing me to gather data and present PowerPoints without worry. The C-cell charger makes for a quick sub-hour charge, and honestly the built in mouse track is super useful because now I dont have to lug around a mouse if I want to be productive 😆

It looks and works like new. I had one of these through my employer for the past couple of years and I worked it hard. Earlier this month the agency updated our equipment, so it has been replaced with a new EliteBook model as the agency rolled out new equipment and updated everything to Windows 11 Enterprise with Windows 10 support ending earlier this month. However, I was in need of a quality Windows 11 capable machine for home. I figured I could score a decent example of the 840 G8 on the aftermarket, and voila! I did just that through RefurbLane for about 1/5 the price it cost when it was new. These things new are very expensive, and unlike my employer, I do not need the latest and greatest, just something that is still supported and works well for basic office tasks. I really like the form factor and the speakers, and believe it or not, even the 16:9 ratio screen size. Being familiar with the machine through my employer made the choice easy because I know how it works and what it can do. We also have the HP G5 docks at work, and they too work great for those desktop comforts, including dual monitor support, keyboard, mouse, power, and more, all through one Thunderbolt 4 USB-C connection to the dock. So I scored a used one on eBay for half of what they cost new and it adds those desktop comforts at home with easy connectivity and similarity to my work office set up, albeit with second-hand equipment. It makes it easy to switch out my 840 G8 with my new work laptop when I am working from home, and it simply works. The only thing I did was upgrade the RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB, as upgradability is the name of the game with this laptop. A solid choice for a great looking and performing laptop at a fraction of the cost of a new one. For those thinking about it, please keep in mind it is not a gaming laptop as it only has the integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics with 1.5 GB of VRAM. It can play some basic games but that was not the intent of the machine. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my RefurbLane purchase through IT Replay, the refurbisher who sold me the laptop. Great work from IT Replay on the high-quality laptop and equally impressive shipping/packaging, and great work from RefurbLane for the platform to make the purchase quick and easy. Thank you all!

Refurbished Windows Laptops questions answered

Refurbished Windows laptops on RefurbLane are reliable. Every device goes through an up to 100-point quality inspection by professional sellers and comes with a 1-year warranty (provided by the seller) plus 30 days to change your mind. Available brands include Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPad, HP EliteBook, and Microsoft Surface, all enterprise-grade lines built for professional durability. Refurbished doesn't mean broken: these laptops are tested, repaired, and cleaned before they reach you.
Many refurbished laptops on RefurbLane are compatible with Windows 11, including models like the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 G3, HP EliteBook 840 G8, and Dell Latitude 5430. Some older models may ship with Windows 10, which reached the end of Microsoft support in October 2025. Always check individual listings for the OS version before purchasing.
Refurbished and used aren't the same thing. Here's what sets them apart:
Used: sold as-is by the previous owner, with no inspection or warranty
Refurbished: professionally tested, repaired if needed, cleaned, and graded before resale. This is what we do at RefurbLane !
For a broader look at how refurbished works, check our refurbished laptop buying guide.
Yes. Enterprise-grade models like the Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPad, and HP EliteBook were originally designed for professional use and handle documents, video calls, email, and spreadsheets without issue. SSD-equipped models boot quickly and keep things moving. Filters for processor type, RAM, and screen size let you find the right fit for your workflow.
Use the filters on this page to narrow your search:
Condition grade: Fair, Good, or Excellent — cosmetic differences only, never affects how the laptop performs
RAM: minimum 8 GB for everyday tasks, 16 GB for heavier workloads
Storage: look for SSD models for noticeably faster performance
Brand: Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPad, HP EliteBook for business; Microsoft Surface for thin-and-light portability
Warranty: every purchase includes a 1-year warranty (provided by the seller) and 30 days to return it

It is. Manufacturing accounts for roughly 77% of a laptop's total carbon footprint — and buying refurbished means that production cost is bypassed entirely. Based on RefurbLane's calculations from the ADEME 2022 study, choosing a refurbished laptop generates up to 89% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to buying new, and avoids 98% of the e-waste a new laptop would create. Since 2014, RefurbLane has helped avoid 2.2 million tons of CO2e through refurbished device sales.
