Disclaimer: I'm an iOS man. I have every Apple device possible. lol I purchased the Pixel 8 to use as a testing device for android apps and I really love it. It looks brand new and is exactly what was described. There are no scratches, scrapes or cracks. I recommend getting a case though. You wouldn't want to drop this beauty. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and it has changed my views on buying refurbished items. I was a bit skeptical at first but, I'm happy that my doubts were misplaced.

I ordered the Google pixel 8 256g in good condition, and everything was better than I had expected! The phone didn't even have any scratches on it at all, and it's been running great! I definitely feel like this was a good purchase!

It shipped and was delivered on time. The body and screen were flawless, exceeding my expectations for the condition I paid for "excellent". If you told me the device was brand new out of the box I would believe you. It was also unlocked as promised so I was able to install GrapheneOS and eSims from both Verizon and T Mobile. Everything operates as expected (camera, microphone, sensors, GPS, USB C). The only thing I was not able to verify was battery life/health but it seems to last a reasonable amount of time based on usage so no complaints there either. I would recommend both the device (Pixel 8) and the seller to anyone considering a refurbished phone. RefurbLane does offer a solid return policy if the device doesn't match expectations, in this case it exceeded my expectation so I decided to write a review. (edit: in the photo I uploaded the white specks are not on the actual device, they are from using my other phone to take the photo and the Pixel 8 having a very reflective glass back)

I'm very happy with my new phone. The quality of the phone is just as described. It feels NEW. It was easy to transfer my files and apps from my old phone. Since I was already using Google Suite, it seems very practical to have a Google Phone. The image is crisp and the camera is high quality. The interface is very friendly and the sounds are pretty. The phone is not too heavy.

Shipped great, I got it set up and transferred everything over in an afternoon. Such an upgrade from my previous phone, I'll probably get another one from here next time. (Probably in 5-7 more years 😅)

Great device. Truly minor aesthetic issues. Very clean and factory reset. Only issue: speakers were very dirty, with lint and hair likely form previous owners pocket.

The Google Pixel 8 steps up as Google’s latest standard flagship, pushing software smarts and a solid camera in a clean, compact package. Released in October 2023, it’s one generation back from the latest but keeps the perks rolling with Google’s AI tools and thoughtful design upgrades. If you’re riding into 2025 and want a phone that knows what you need (before you do), this pixel might just hit the sweet spot—literally and figuratively.

Key features:

Release Date: October 2023
Display: 6.2-inch OLED, FHD+ (2400 x 1080 px) with 120Hz refresh rate
Processor: Google Tensor G3 chipset
Camera: Dual rear system — 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide
Operating System: Ships with Android 14
Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi 7 support
Water & Dust Resistance: IP68 rating

Who is this for?

The Google Pixel 8 is built for folks who want pure Android, seamless Google integration, and AI-powered photo tools—think students, Google loyalists, or anyone ready to ditch the digital clutter for something straightforward. Compared to the Pixel 7, the Pixel 8 brings a smoother screen and a little extra AI magic, but the real changes are subtle. If you don’t need zoom-crazy camera hardware (hello, Pro models), this is a smart, reliable pre-owned device with a user-friendly vibe.

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Compact form factor comfortable for one-handed use. No telephoto lens for detailed zoom shots. Vibrant OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Minimal hardware changes over previous generation. Pure Android experience with Google’s latest features and long software support. Can feel basic compared to some competing flagships (no periscope lens, no ultra-premium build).
Why refurbished?

Going for a refurbished Google Pixel 8 keeps tech in the loop and waste out of landfills—a choice that helps you, your wallet, and the planet. Every pre-owned device from RefurbLane is inspected and tested to meet rigorous standards, so you get reliable performance without the new-phone smell (or the unnecessary packaging).
