The phone was as advertised, a few minor scuffs on the screen which was expected since I selected fair condition. I requested the good battery option as well and received a battery health of 99% on the device. The phone is functioning great so far and lasts me the whole day, sometimes more. RefurbLane gave me a solid, functioning device with no issues, which is hard to find when ordering refurbished from eBay,marketplace, aliexpress etc. I Would order from them again just for the peace of mind alone that I know I’m getting exactly what I asked for.

Without a doubt, this was the best purchase I've made in years. For the price, this phone is way more than excellent. It did come with a few scuffs and dents, and while the screen had no major scratches, it has about two slight indentations that you can only see when the light hits it, though they don't affect functionality at all. I was aware of the condition I was buying, so I expected something like this. The battery came at 100% health, which is amazing. I was able to activate my carrier's eSIM with no issues, and no third-party or non-genuine parts were detected.

Literally loving it it’s so fast and efficient the camera is amazing and there weren’t any scratches on it so I was happy about that and it came with a screen protector which I thought was tea and when I said I wanted a better battery I didn’t expect the capacity to be at 100 I really liked that cause I’m a real heavy user so the fact that it last all day is amazing anyways y’all should definitely get this it was totally worth the price especially coming from a iPhone 13 mini ooo girl my phone was on its last legs

The whole process was seamless. My phone was perfect just like brand new for a fraction of the cost. It was very easy to set up. I thought I would have to make a trip to TMobile since the phone was unlocked but I was able to do everything from home! Very happy with the company and my phone. I’ll be back!

Absolutely amazing. Way cheaper than “Good” quality refurbished iPhone 16e’s at other big brand stores and came literally like new. Phone’s battery capacity is at 100%, the physical condition is flawless, and for the price it is really amazing. Definitely recommend if you’re trying to be smart instead of spending $100 more on a brand new one just because it comes with the original box.

My first BM purchase and I'm completely satisfied with my experience. The phone looks and feels brand new; it was first used on October 2025 and came with a 100% battery with just 14 charging cycles. Apple Care & Warranty valid until Oct 2026. The icing on the cake was that it even came with the 20W wall dock charger and a screen protector already installed. The phone was delivered on time and runs smooth as expected.

very nice phone for the price battery was almost 100% which is surprising for the price. works well my mom has had it a few days and loves it she upgraded to the iphone 16E from an iphone 13. I forced her to upgrade when the battery in the iphone 13 degraded to 79% so it should last a couple of years any way very good refurbishment and very happy with the purchase

iPhone 16e questions, answered

Yes, the refurbished iPhone 16e remains a strong pick. It runs on the same A18 chip as the rest of the iPhone 16 family, delivers the best battery life ever on a 6.1-inch iPhone (up to 26 hours), and fully supports Apple Intelligence. Refurbished from $349 on RefurbLane versus $899 new, you save $220+ on current-generation performance. The honest trade-offs: a single rear camera and no MagSafe. For most buyers, those are easy to live with.

Yes. The iPhone 16e fully supports Apple Intelligence, powered by the A18 chip's 16-core Neural Engine. That includes:
Writing Tools: proofread, rewrite, or summarize text in any app
Enhanced Siri: conversational, context-aware, with on-screen awareness and Type to Siri
Clean Up: remove distracting objects from photos
Visual Intelligence: search and take action based on what your camera sees
Image Playground and Genmoji: generate original images and emoji
No subscription required. Every refurbished iPhone 16e on RefurbLane ships with the current version of iOS and full Apple Intelligence support, regardless of condition grade.
The iPhone 16e has the best battery life ever on a 6.1-inch iPhone, according to Apple. It rates at up to 26 hours of video playback and up to 21 hours of streamed video, powered by a 4,005 mAh battery. That is up to 12 hours longer than any iPhone SE, and up to 6 hours longer than the iPhone 11. In independent real-world tests, continuous active use averaged around 12 to 13 hours. Battery life is one of the clearest wins for the 16e over every previous SE and most of the 6.1-inch iPhone lineup.
No. The US iPhone 16e is eSIM only — there is no physical SIM card tray. This applies to all units, new or refurbished. To activate service, you set up an eSIM directly through your carrier, either via a QR code or the carrier's app. All major US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile) and most MVNOs fully support eSIM on iPhone. The unlocked iPhone 16e on RefurbLane supports up to 2 active eSIMs simultaneously, and carrier status is verified as part of every device's up-to-100-point inspection.
RefurbLane offers four grades for the iPhone 16e — all guaranteed 100% functional. The difference is cosmetic only, not performance.
Fair (from $359): visible signs of use on the body; screen scratches may be visible when the display is on
Good (from $377.70): visible micro-scratches on the body; screen is scratch-free
Excellent (from $349): very light signs of use, barely noticeable at arm's length; screen is scratch-free
Premium (from $399): near-perfect cosmetics; manufacturer-approved parts; battery guaranteed at 90%+ capacity
Battery health is guaranteed at 80%+ across all grades; Premium bumps that up to 90%+. Every grade includes a 1-year commercial warranty and 30 days to change your mind. Learn more about what each grade means on the RefurbLane condition grades page.
Yes and the numbers make it concrete. Choosing a refurbished iPhone 16e instead of a new one avoids approximately 77 kg of CO₂e per device, roughly 92% of the greenhouse gas emissions tied to smartphone manufacturing, based on RefurbLane's calculations from the ADEME 2022 study. About 80% of a smartphone's entire carbon footprint happens before you ever turn it on — during production. Buying refurbished keeps an existing device in use and skips that footprint almost entirely. Learn more about the environmental impact of buying refurbished.

The iPhone 16e steps up as Apple’s 2024 addition to the iPhone lineup, blending familiar design with some much-anticipated upgrades. While not Apple’s headline flagship, this model sits right in the sweet spot for folks who want a solid daily driver with up-to-date tech—without needing every bell and whistle. Being just a year old as of 2025, the iPhone 16e still packs plenty of modern features for most users.

Key features:

Release Date: September 2024
Display: 6.1-inch OLED, Super Retina XDR
Processor: Apple A18 chip
Camera: Dual 48MP rear cameras with improved low-light and Smart HDR

Who is this for?

The iPhone 16e is a straightforward pick for users who want Apple’s stable performance and security but don’t need (or want to pay for) the flagship extras of the Pro lineup. It’s great for students, everyday users, or anyone upgrading from a device that’s a few years old—think folks coming from an iPhone 13, 14, or even SE series. Compared to the iPhone 16 Pro, the 16e skips the triple-camera system and ProMotion display, but still offers a reliable, all-round iPhone experience with the latest processor and camera basics done right.

Pros & Cons: Pros Cons Latest-generation A18 chip gives effortless performance for apps, gaming, and multitasking. No telephoto lens—digital zoom is your only friend here. Crisp OLED display with vibrant colors and brightness. Standard 60Hz refresh rate—no ProMotion for silky scrolling. 5G and Wi-Fi 6E mean fast and future-ready connections. Still uses traditional Face ID—no under-display camera (yet?). Lightweight and durable build with Ceramic Shield. No always-on display or titanium finish found in Pro models.
Why refurbished?

Choosing a refurbished iPhone 16e is a great way to reduce e-waste and get a thoroughly tested, reliable device. Every RefurbLane smartphone passes strict performance and cosmetic checks before finding a new pocket to call home. Learn more about how we assure top quality.
